AgiBot A2

The AgiBot A2 is a humanoid robot from Zhiyuan Robotics, a Shanghai company that trades internationally as AgiBot and was founded in February 2023. The A2 is sold as a family rather than a single machine: a bipedal A2 and A2 Ultra aimed at enterprise buyers, a wheeled A2-W, and an A2 Lite that an ordinary customer can actually put in a basket.

That last point is what separates the A2 from most of the humanoid field. The A2 Lite is listed at US$44,560 on AgiBot’s international store, with shipping quoted separately at roughly $500 to $3,000. Nearly every competing full-size humanoid is either unpriced, enterprise-only, or not for sale at all, so a published figure and a checkout page put the A2 Lite in a small group.

Current official specifications give the robot a height of 169 cm and a weight of 69 kg, with more than 40 active degrees of freedom and a 700 Wh swappable battery good for roughly two hours. Earlier press coverage circulated 175 cm and 55 kg; those numbers came from launch material and have since been superseded. The standard A2 carries a 360-degree lidar and six cameras, while the Lite drops the lidar. The A2 Ultra is specified with a 16-core CPU alongside an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB module.

Pricing above the Lite is less clear. Neither the A2 nor the A2 Ultra carries a public price. For the wheeled A2-W the only figure in circulation is an industry estimate of ¥400,000 to ¥800,000 — roughly $56,000 to $112,000 — attributed to an insider by Yicai, which is a weaker source than a price list and should be treated as such.
