Open-source bipedal humanoid research platform unveiled by ROBOTIS in April 2026. The Korean company behind the DYNAMIXEL servo line and the DARwIn-OP educational robot positions K0 as the open baseline for "Physical AI" research, releasing full hardware BoM, CAD files, source code and simulation assets. Powered by 23 in-house Dynamixel-Q quasi-direct-drive actuators. Compatible with NVIDIA Isaac Sim for reinforcement learning and leader-follower setups for imitation learning.

AI basketball-shooting humanoid built by a volunteer team at Toyota since 2017. CUE6 holds the Guinness World Record for the longest basketball shot by a humanoid robot at 24.55 m. CUE7, unveiled in April 2026, drops the weight to 74 kg on an inverted two-wheel base and pairs reinforcement learning with model predictive control for dynamic shooting motion.
