Humans & AI vs. Alien Invasion

Overview

Aliens are threatening Earth. Lead humanity and AI in a turn-based strategy defense scenario. Coordinate responses on land and sea, research new technologies, manage morale, handle random events, and hold out long enough to either calm the emergency or evacuate to space. Every decision on strategy, resource allocation, and AI-human cooperation affects your chances of success.

How to Play

Each Turn: Manage military units, allocate resources, and decide where to defend or attack
Combat: Battle alien forces on multiple fronts. Strength of your units depends on research level and morale
Research Tech: Unlock military and survival technologies to gain advantages in combat
Manage Resources: Balance military spending, civilian food, and infrastructure. Running out causes morale collapse
Handle Random Events: Political pressure, diplomatic opportunities, natural disasters, or alien weapons tests occur unpredictably
Win or Evacuate: Reach a victory condition or evacuate remaining humans to orbit

Core Systems

Military Strength: Build and upgrade units (infantry, tanks, fighters). Each unit has health, damage, and cost
Morale: Affected by wins/losses, civilian support, and AI cooperation. Low morale causes army desertion
Tech Tree: Research weapons, armor, shields, and AI integration. Better tech = stronger units
Multiple Fronts: Defend Earth's continents and near-orbit. Losing a sector spreads alien forces
Alliance Meter: Human-AI coordination affects unit strength. Trust the AI for better outcomes

Tips & Strategy

Don't Stretch Too Thin: Defend fewer fronts with stronger forces rather than spreading thin across all areas
Invest in Tech Early: Researching military upgrades pays off exponentially in later turns
Manage Morale: Victory celebrations and civilian updates boost morale. Losses hurt morale badly
Trust AI Units: AI-driven units get bonuses from research and cooperation. Let them lead when possible
Prepare for Surprises: Random events can shift the crisis dramatically. Have reserves of resources and units
Evacuation as Backup: If victory seems impossible, pivot to evacuation. Save humanity rather than lose all

Win/Lose Conditions

Victory:

Defeat all alien forces and secure Earth
Successfully evacuate all humans to orbit stations before aliens overwhelm you

Defeat:

Morale reaches zero (population gives up)
All military units destroyed with no ability to rebuild
Aliens breach final defensive lines

Controls & Interface

Unit Manager: Place units on a grid representing battle zones
Research Panel: Choose which technology to develop (costs 1 turn)
Resource Bar: Shows food, fuel, military budget. Allocate monthly
Event Display: Random event description and your choices
Battle Log: Shows recent combat outcomes and casualties

What to Expect

A strategic defense game with real stakes. You'll feel the weight of your decisions—early setbacks compound into later problems, but clever strategy can turn the tide. The human-AI theme isn't just flavor; it mechanically affects gameplay. Playtime: 25-40 minutes per run.
