Bot Trader
Trade robot parts across the solar system. Buy low, sell high, assemble bots, and dodge space pirates in 60 turns.
The Goal
Accumulate the highest net worth in 60 turns. You're competing against AI-controlled bot trading companies. Buy parts from the market, assemble them into robots, and sell the finished bots for profit.
Parts Market
Each turn, a fresh market appears with different parts at fluctuating prices. Parts include chassis, CPU modules, sensors, actuators, power cells, armor plates, comm antennas, and gyroscopes.
Building Bots
Six bot blueprints are available, from the simple Scout Drone (4 parts, ~1,200c) to the massive Titan Mech (16 parts, ~8,500c). Each blueprint lists the required parts. The game uses your good parts first, then defective ones if needed.
Selling
You have two ways to sell:
CREDIT 30% premium price, but payment comes in 3–7 turns. The buyer might default — especially if your reputation is low. You could lose everything.
Defective Parts & Malfunctions
Each defective part in a bot adds ~25% malfunction risk (stacking). If a bot malfunctions during the sale demo, the buyer demands a 60% discount and your reputation drops. You can scrap defective parts for ~15% salvage value if you'd rather not risk it.
Reputation
Your reputation (0–100) affects everything. High reputation means better sell prices and lower credit default rates. Low reputation means buyers don't trust you — they pay less and are more likely to default on credit. Selling quality bots and getting paid on time raises reputation. Shipping defective bots and having credit customers default lowers it.
Random Events
Every turn, random events can shake things up: space pirate raids that steal parts, surplus shipments of free parts, customer returns of malfunctioning bots, tax collections, viral positive reviews, new competitors entering the market, and lucky asteroid belt finds.
Competitors
3–5 AI competitors are building and selling bots alongside you. They grow steadily and sometimes undercut your prices. Your ranking against them is shown in the leaderboard. Beat them all to prove you're the best bot trader in the solar system.
Strategy Tips
TIP Only use defective parts when you're desperate — the reputation hit isn't worth it long-term.
TIP Credit sales are great for margin but watch your default risk. Keep reputation above 60 for reliable payments.
TIP Bulk Buy gives you 10% off all good parts — use it when the market has what you need.
TIP Titan Mechs are the big money-makers but require 16 parts. Plan several turns ahead.
